Jake Morton
Jake Morton takes the stage to celebrate the release of his new album, BIO>EGO. Known for his improvisational artistry emulating Deantoni Parks methods which blends live drumming with electronic sample manipulation, Jake has been captivating audiences on solo tours in Japan, including standout performances in Tokyo and Osaka over the past two years. His latest album, featuring unedited live recordings from 2022 to 2024, offers a raw and authentic glimpse into his creative process. This performance will preview the immersive energy Jake is bringing to his upcoming Japan tour in February and March 2025.

Sook
Opening the night is Sook, the solo project of Gold Coast musician Kirk Mesmer, formerly of Magick Lamp. Sook’s melodic pop-rock sound, inspired by Weezer, The Cure, and Smashing Pumpkins, is shaped by Kirk’s passion for music, film, and art. His introspective and engaging performance will set the tone for an unforgettable evening.
