SCU After Dark w/ Split Aces, Piper Rose, Twisted Lullaby & Bedroom

SCU After Dark is a showcase of original music by young up and coming artists who are studying a Bachelor of Contemporary Music. This show will have:  

Split Aces 
Who bring sharp riffs, raw energy, and late-night swagger to the indie rock scene. Inspired by music of the 2000s but never stuck in the past, they fuse lo-fi grit with modern edge.

Piper Rose
A Gold Coast-based singer-songwriter carving her own lane in the local music scene. With a signature sound that blends dark pop and a subtle jazz twist, Piper’s music captures emotion, mystery, and raw authenticity. Currently pursuing her passion for songwriting and performance, she continues to develop her craft and share her unique voice with audiences across the coast. Her lyrics dive deep into introspection and human connection, wrapped in lush, moody production that leaves a lasting impression. Piper is an artist to watch—unafraid to experiment, evolve, and bring something new to the stage.

Twisted Lullaby 
A Female-fronted alt-metal band from the Gold Coast! Their haunting, otherworldly vocals soar over a relentless wave of heavy, metal inspired instrumentation, a presence that is both fierce and fragile.

Bedroom
An upcoming math rock fusion band enters the scene with technical yet sparkly riffs and intricate metric modulations. Their sound, influenced by the instrumentation of math rock and jazz fusion, is synthesised into a fresh take on the math rock genre.
